Halloween Packs And Competitions Set To Drive Sales

Following a hugely successful 2014, which saw its biggest ever sales uplift during the Halloween period, Jägermeister will again be helping licensees to make the most of this increasingly popular event by unleashing its ‘Zombie Outbreak’ activity for on-trade outlets in 2015.

Available from the 1st October with the purchase of two cases of stock (12 bottles of Jägermeister or Jägermeister Spice) over 4,000 limited edition packs will feature a raft of Halloween-themed accessories to generate consumer excitement in the run up to October 31st.

Bigger, better and even more frightening than last year’s packs, this year’s monstrous offering from the No.1 best-selling speciality spirit includes a zombie make up kit and three t-shirts to help staff get into the Halloween spirit, along with 30 conical shot glasses and “Zombie contamination” crime scene tape to create theatre throughout the venue, as well as 30 pairs of zombie glasses for giveaways.

The packs also contain 15 tent cards, six posters with three different designs plus a Halloween-themed drinks menu with two Jägermeister cocktails: ‘I Know What You Did Last Summer’ and ‘From Dusk Til Dawn’ is also provided as inspiration for the party.

What’s more, Jägermeister will reward the best on-trade Halloween effort with a range of prizes including £500 cash, personalised bottles of Jägermeister for staff and cases of stock. Licensees can enter the competition by simply sharing pictures of their bar staff dressed up in their zombie attire on Instagram and twitter, using the hashtag #jagerbarzombie.

With Halloween sales continuing to rise, the campaign will help licensees benefit from the party season whilst also encouraging consumer participation with their very own Jäger Zombie competition.

Consumers who also share their Zombie Outbreak inspired pictures on social media can be in with a chance of winning an exclusive trip for four friends to the Zombie Escape experience in Stockholm.

‘I Know What You Did Last Summer’

Ingredients: 50ml Jägermeister, 100ml orange juice, 12.5ml fresh lemon juice, 12.5ml grenadine

Method: Pour the Jägermeister, orange juice and lemon juice into a Boston shaker. Shake and strain into a long drink glass. Float the grenadine on top and garnish with an orange and a cherry.

‘From Dusk Til Dawn’

Ingredients: 25ml Gin, 12.5ml Fresh lemon juice, 12.5ml Gomme syrup, 25ml Jägermeister

Method: Fill a Boston Shaker with ice. Pour the Gin, Gomme syrup and lemon juice into the shaker. Pour into a tumbler over ice, float the Jägermeister on top and garnish with a lemon slice.
