Established in May 2014, Mast-Jaegermeister UK (MJUK) was the first wholly owned subsidiary outside of Germany. The company was awarded an excellent three-star (out of three) rating following an above average 90% response rate from staff for the Best Companies Survey. The anonymous online questionnaire, completed in 2016, covered every aspect of a MJUK staff member’s working life, from how motivating they find the leaders of the business and their line manager, to how valuable they feel to the organisation. The three-star accolade was followed by the official announcement on 22nd February 2017 that MJUK had achieved the 64th spot on the list.
Guy Lawrence, CEO at Mast-Jaegermeister UK commented; “Achieving the number 64 in The Times Best Small Companies list is an honour and a huge accolade for our relatively young business. We have shared and celebrated visions and values for Mast-Jaegermeister UK, and we could not achieve our ambitious goals without the dedication, hard work and passion of every member of the MJUK team. This is just the beginning of the journey and we will strive to drive forwards always to ensure Mast-Jaegermeister UK remains an excellent workplace and high-performance organisation with genuinely happy staff.”
MJUK employs 75 staff across the country and is the third biggest Jägermeister market. In less than three years, MJUK has established a high performance culture, hitting a record year for UK sales in 2016 and delivering excellence across the business.
Mast-Jaegermeister’s 64th place in The Times Best Small Companies list follows MJUK’s Investors in People GOLD accreditation, achieved in November 2015.
